The SP1 Carbon Fiber Helmet was developed with extensive wind tunnel testing to achieve ideal aerodynamics and optimum air flow. It offers a perfect aerodynamic balance that can be customized with various spoilers and ventilation scoops to meet the requirements of every type of racing. With 12 ventilation channels across the SP1's shell, optimum circulation is achieved through aerodynamic design and air flow channels built into the EPS (interior padding), providing the ideal flow for intake of cool air and exhaust of hot air.

Channels in the cheek pads allow for easy installation of radio communications. A full selection of plug & play integrated electronics are available as options. The Super-Light ONE Versa 6 point camlock harness from OMP is designed specifically for sedan drivers using a HANS device. Special lightweight adjusters and compact lap belt mounting hardware are used to keep weight to a minimum. Even the buckle tabs have been lightened. This Versa model is ideal for endurance racing.
The shoulder belts are 2" wide along the entire length for better alignment with a HANS device. Each shoulder strap has loops just above the adjusters for attaching radio cables, drink tubes, or rubber bands. The lap belts are 2" wide, and you get both a lap belt set with pull-up adjusters and a lap belt set with pull-down adjusters to suit all installations. The 2" sub straps also have pull-up adjusters for quick driver changes. The rotary camlock buckle is permanently attached to the sub belts by a rounded T-bar. No more sitting on the buckle when you get in the car! Hook-and-loop fasteners on the lap and shoulder belts can also be used to keep the belts out of the way during driver changes. A special detent prevents accidental buckle release.
The shoulder belts include 3-bar sliders for wrap-around mounting. The lap belts have lightweight carabiners sewn in for use with eyebolts (included). The anti-sub belts have snap-in end plates installed with 3-bar sliders for easy conversion to wrap-around mount. Includes 4 forged eyebolts with 7/16-20 UNF threads.

A Note Regarding Ozone
Ozone is widely used for sterilization. The Simpson Equipment Sterilizer and Dryer generates ozone using the corona discharge method. It is a pale blue gas with a distinctively pungent smell, detectable by many people at concentrations as low as 0.01 ppm in air. Ozone is formed naturally from diatomic oxygen by electric discharge or exposure to ultraviolet radiation.
Ozone is a powerful oxidant and has many industrial and consumer applications related to oxidation. It's used to deodorize air, purify water, disinfect kitchen tools and treat industrial waste. This same oxidizing property, however, can cause ozone to damage mucous and respiratory tissues.
Therefore, for safety and comfort purposes, we recommend using the Simpson Equipment Sterilizer and Dryer only in a space with adequate ventilation. We also recommend staying away from it while it is disinfecting gear with ozone.

Girodisc
A1-183 Girodisc 2pc Front Brake Rotors

FERRARI 458 CHALLENGE
This Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OEM front CCM rotors on the 458 Challenge, although a different brake pad with an annulus (pad swept area) of 66 mm or less must be used. We suggest the Pagid 8081, the most popular pad used with Girodisc rotors on the 458 Challenge. The lower-annulus design of the Girodisc rotors keeps weight low without sacrificing braking performance.
The central hat section of the Girodisc rotor is made from strictly U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is made from their own proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and machined from start to finish in house at Girodisc. The rotor utilizes a curved vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.
The rotor and hat have a floating mount system, which utilizes 12 high strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured by Girodisc in the USA to their own specifications and cadmium plated for a long lasting corrosion resistance. These pins take the load from braking action while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. The pins are secured by class 12.9 cap screws with hardened washers. In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side which allow the rotor to grow with heat expansion but eliminate the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. This float also allows the rotor to self center between the pads.
Once the Girodisc system is in place, simply replace the cast iron rotor when needed.
