Pagid Racing Brake Pads No. 1544
Pagid Pagid Racing Brake Pads No. 1544 $275.37
Pair of front brake pads for BMW E30 318is - 325i,Z1, Citroen ZX 2.0 16V. Racing oriented and built to withstand high temperatures. See full fitment list below. RSL29 Compound Overview The Pagid RSL29 compound, formerly known as Pagid RS29, is a long time favorite and reliable pad. It features very good modulation and release characteristics through a low metallic resin bonded material containing steel and aramid fibers. The friction level of the material maintains constant at a low-medium level. Combined with easy bedding-in behavior, this compound is very popular in club racing, for track days, GT cars, touring cars and prototype endurance racing. Due to the excellent modulation characteristics, the RSL29 pads is also often used in sprint races. Pagid Pagid Racing Brake Pads No. 2180 $343.65
Pagid Front brake pad; RS 29 compound; 17.2mm; fits BMW Z3 (not Roadster) ‘95-’03, Z4 ’03-now, 318is-325i [E36] ‘90-2998, 3’i-323i [E46] ’98-’03 RSL 29: The PAGID RSL29 (Yellow) is the world-leading endurance brake pad used by most of the winning teams in motorsport. Although designed primarily for endurance racing, many competitors use this material successfully for sprint and short distance races also. RS29 has also found favor in the growing track day market due to the level of control, good cold performance, long life and low disc wear.
PFC Brake Pads 0548.XX.16.44
Performance Friction PFC Brake Pads 0548.XX.16.44 from $296.95
The PFC 0548.11.16.44 and PFC 0548.08.18.44 have dominated the NASA Spec E46 class since inception. The PFC 0548 pad shape fits the rear axle of the E46 (non-M) chassis and comes in two popular compounds, the 08 and 11. 0548.11.16.44 (11 Compound) A new generation sprint and medium distance friction: the ultimate in control with superior disc conditioning. Developed from 01 compound with improved bite, modulation, and release characteristics. It is ultra smooth and developed to reduce wheel locking at the end of braking while giving more cold and hot bite than the endurance oriented 08 compound. Brake with confidence; brake with ultimate control and modulation. 0548.08.16.44 (08 Compound) One of PFC's most popular compounds which came to fame in Endurance Sportscar and GT racing due to its performance in applications where smooth initial bite is a must. PFC08 has a slight friction rise with temperature, excellent release and modulation characteristics. Despite its considerable performance, 08 has the lowest wear rate of all PFC compounds and can easily match the wear characteristics of the other competitors' materials but with much higher bite and consistent performance across a broad temperature range.
PFC Brake Pads 7745.XX.16.44
Performance Friction PFC Brake Pads 7745.XX.16.44 from $241.95
PFC 01 COMPOUND The Performance Friction PFC 01 compound is the standard by which all other racing brake pads are judged. The PFC 01 has a very high initial bite and torque, with very little temperature-induced torque rise. At the end of braking, less torque scatter exists for improved modulation and excellent release. With its low-wear characteristics and excellent disc conditioning properties, it's no wonder the PFC 01 compound has won more World and National Championships than any other brake pad on the market! Girodisc Titanium Brake Pad Shields for Porsche 991, 992, GT4 Rear
Girodisc Girodisc Titanium Brake Pad Shields for Porsche 991, 992, GT4 Rear $90.00
Girodisc Titanium Brake Pad Shields FITS: Porsche 991, 992, GT4 Rear The problem of brake fluid boiling is due to heat transferring from the rotors and pads directly into the fluid through the caliper pistons. When brake fluid boils, it releases air that is normally part of the molecular structure of the fluid. This air is compressible, of course, and the brake pedal goes to the floor instead of moving the caliper pistons. Production cars tend to suffer from this on track days because they don't have the extensive cooling ducts and exotic brake materials found on race cars. Race-only brake calipers generally come with titanium caliper pistons for one reason: titanium has low thermal conductivity. This means it's very bad at transferring heat, which is good if you're trying to keep your brake fluid from boiling. Here's a comparison of materials and their relative thermal conductivity ratings (lower is better): Titanium 6AL-4V = 6.7 W/mk Steel = 52 W/mk Aluminum = 130 W/mk Most fixed calipers use aluminum pistons which are, unfortunately, excellent at transferring braking heat to your brake fluid. Our solution is to place Girodisc's thin titanium shims between the brake pad and the caliper pistons. This helps prevent braking heat from transferring into the pistons and, thus, into the fluid. For cars that are going to see hard or multiple track days, these shims are affordable protection from losing your brake pedal at the wrong time and making your track day very expensive. Water jet cut to exact size; no cutting, grinding, or swearing involved. Price is per axle (four shims)
Ferodo FCP4665G DS3.12 Brake Pads
Ferodo Ferodo FCP4665G DS3.12 Brake Pads from $563.25
Ferodo FCP4665G DS3.12 Brake Pads *Designed for use with iron discs only, not for carbon ceramic discs. Replacement pads for OEM Porsche calipers. Fitments include GT2, GT3, GT3RS, GT4 Compound: DS3.12 DS3.12 Released in 2019, the DS3.12 is the latest evolution in Ferodo's incredible DS line. Sports cars today have more of everything: more horsepower, more sophisticated aero, higher curb weights, and stickier tires. These attributes place serious demands on a vehicle's brake system. The Ferodo DS3.12 is the modern pad compound designed from the start to explicitly handle those demands. Out of all the pad compounds we've ever tested , from all manufacturers, the DS3.12 shows the flattest torque curve across the broadest temperature range. That means that on every turn, on every track you drive, on every lap, your brake pedal is going to feel almost exactly the same, providing tremendous consistency and repeatability. The DS3.12 has a higher mu than Ferodo's other compounds, so not as much leg pressure is required to initiate the desired response. It is also unfadable, showing no drop in performance at any temp your brakes will ever see. In dyno testing, the DS3.12 has shown superior wear rates to the other Ferodo compounds, while remaining kind to the discs. We believe the DS3.12 will become the gold standard to which other race compounds will be compared.
