The Quick Fit Harness from Schroth is an excellent harness solution for people who have dual duty cars (track and street). Not many of us have the means to support a full time track vehicle as well as a street car, and still more of us like driving track-prepared cars on the street. The ultimate harness solution includes fixed-back Kevlar seats, a gazillion point welded roll-cage and a HANS device. None of us are going to (nor do we recommend) do this in our street cars.
What's the next best thing? The Schroth Quick Fit Harness. It anchors to factory points, which means you don't have to worry about it ripping out of the sheet metal. The factory points are load tested to withstand a 3,000-pound force for 6 seconds. It has ASM technology that keeps the lap belt low and your rear end firmly planted in the seat. You don't want the lap belt riding up and squeezing your stomach and intestines. A Schroth belt is designed not to.
The Quick Fit Belts also take advantage of the factory seat belt pre-tensioner, a device that tightens the belt 1-2 inches in the event of an accident. The Airbags will deploy as the engineers of the system intended for someone buckled in. With any other harness, the car wouldn't detect that someone was buckled in, so the airbags would deploy faster and harder.

This harness is not compatible with HANS or any other head and neck restraint devices. If you plan on using a HANS, the Quick Fit Pro version is compatible.

Schroth Profi II ASM 4 Point Harness (Anti-Sub)
The Schroth Profi II ASM 4 Point Harness (Anti-Sub) integrates Schroth’s unique ASM (Anti-SubMarining) technology in a four-point system. The ideal harness for stock seats, or seats not designed for a pass-through for a sub strap, that are used in Driver Education programs.
Schroth’s ASM is an extra fold of material sewn into the inboard shoulder belt, elongating at a separate rate compared to the outboard belt. This allows two movements: the upper torso can twist slightly, and on the rebound phase, the torso is planted firmly back in the seat instead of sliding under the lap belt.
The Schroth Profi II ASM 4 Point Harness is good for use with a HANS device or other Head and Neck Restraint (HNR). The ASM shoulder strap on the ASM is 3” width, which will work with any HNR. A dual or single strap can be added to convert this belt into a 5- or 6- point system. The shoulders are ready to wrap around a roll bar, and snap-in or bolt-in attachments can be purchased.
The Schroth Profi II ASM 4 Point Harness also features a “Flex Belt.” Instead of being sewn into the harness, the cam latches and end fittings are wrapped, making configuration changes from a Pull-Up to a Pull-Down configuration quick and easy. In addition to helping you customize the use of your device for your particular situation, you can add bolt-in brackets to be wrapped in the lap belts. Snap-in brackets are standard on the lap belts.
Choose from Black, Blue, or Red! Be sure to specify Driver or Passenger side as the construction is slightly different for each.

Coupled with a vehicle’s existing safety systems, the Schroth Quick-Fit Pro 4 Point Harness is designed to maximize effectiveness of your HANS device. Traditional four-point harnesses are sewn to lap belts, and don’t join at the center cam lock. This creates a six- to eight-inch gap. The Schroth Quick-Fit Pro 4 Point Harness works in conjunction with your car’s seat belt pre-tensioner and airbag for additional peace of mind. The Quick Fit Pro clicks into the car’s female seat belt receptacle, notifying the car’s airbag computer that the seat is in use and the driver is restrained. The pre-tensioner is also activated. This device ignites a pyrotechnic charge if an accident happens, tightening the lap belt and holding your driver in snugly.

Schroth SHR Flex Head Restraint Features:
Simple sizing: Choose from Medium (up to 15 ½” neck) or Large. Drivers who want more space for their collarbone can opt for the Large size.

A Note About Brake Fluid Boiling Points
DOT 4 brake fluid like RF1 is hygroscopic, meaning it attracts water over time sitting in your brake lines and reservoir. At high brake temperatures, this water can boil in your car's brake lines, causing the fluid in the lines to become compressible. That's what you feel when you experience brake fade. This is why the "wet" (aged fluid) boiling point of any brake fluid is substantially lower than the "dry" (brand new fluid) boiling point.
Since time is the enemy of brake fluid performance, the best practice is to replace your racing brake fluid before each track event/weekend. At a minimum, flush it with new fluid at least every three months if you're consistently racing and/or driving at track days. A couple bottles of fluid will flush most sports cars or race cars. It ends up being pretty cheap insurance against learning about brake fade the hard way.

Our use of high-tech Docol R8 tubing and main-hoop cross bracing gives you an unobstructed rear view without the need for more extensive braces that roll bars made of Chromoly or mild steel have to use.
CMS Performance designed the rear kickers of the Porsche 991 Roll Bar to bolt to the rear shock towers (same as the factory GT3 Cup roll cage). Using the strongest mounting points adds rigidity to the chassis and suspension to improve handling precision. The CMS Performance main roll hoop is mounted to the steel sub-structure beneath the vehicle just like the factory cage.
