Designed for Incredible Strength and Safety
Safety is the main reason to install a roll bar in the first place. As racers ourselves, we sweat the details. That's why we use 1.75" x .095" Docol R8. Docol is 15% stronger than 4130 CrMo, and much less brittle. Docol R8 also dissipates impact energy more effectively. It's the same tubing used in full-competition road racing roll cages because, first and foremost, it's a roll bar not a trim piece.
Our beefy main hoop straddles the rear seat cross member, a much stronger location than the rear footwell, eliminating the need for underbody backing plates. Taking a cue from NHRA cage design, the diagonal supports feature a concave design to allow full front-seat travel while distributing roll-over energy between the main hoop and kickers. The harness cross-bar is precisely located to put your shoulder straps at both the proper angle (0° to -20°) and distance to the driver. Finally our rear kickers bolt to a reinforced corner of the rear seat floor, again requiring no backing plates beneath the floor pan.

Our use of very high-strength materials and innovative design lets us keep your Camaro's rear view unobstructed by unnecessary bracing. The Hero TS-10 Superlight from Sabelt is a top-of-the-line professional driver’s suit constructed with supremely low weight in mind. The outer layer is an extremely light woven flame-resistant material. The fire-retardant Nomex inner layer is soft knit for protection with comfort, while a honeycomb middle layer provides extra insulation without added bulk.
At only 265 g/m2, this lightweight racing suit is one of the best in the industry. The elastic stretch panels around the knees, elbows, and in the lumbar area provide freedom of movement and ventilation. Pre-curved sleeves prevent bunching while driving. The collar is lower than on most other suits for a less restrictive feel. Even the knit wrist and ankle cuffs have been made lighter.
For maximum lightness, this suit features no waist belt. The slim fitting design is simple in order to eliminate as many seams and excess material as possible. The understated stripes are even printed to save every ounce. All colors have black knit wrist and ankle cuffs, black elastic stretch panels, and fire-retardant printed iconic yellow Sabelt logos. More Braking Torque and Thermal Capacity on Track
Using radial-mounted fixed calipers together with oversized discs gives the system greater braking torque and superior thermal capacity. The result is a braking action that is noticeably more immediate and decisive even in normal road usage, and is extraordinarily powerful and consistent under the repeated loads of track use.
Fixed calipers improve the durability and efficiency of the system: the opposed multiple pistons act on the pads with more precision, due to the smaller piston diameter and the reduced pressure exerted on each individual piston, while the greater overall surface area between the pads and pistons results in more uniform friction surface wear. The superlative stiffness of the calipers and the metal braided hoses reduce brake fluid absorption. The result is improved, more stable brake pedal pressure, making it possible to modulate braking force more precisely and enhancing pedal feel.
The greater dimensions of the braking rotor surface improve the dispersion of the heat generated by the repeated, intense thermal stress that the discs are subjected to, for consistent braking performance and pedal feel even after numerous laps on the track.

The CMS Performance 987 Cayman Roll Bar uses high-strength kickers bolted to the Cayman's rear shock towers, the safest, strongest mounting points. This allows the roll bar to contribute rigidity to your chassis and suspension. The main roll hoop is mounted to the frame structure across the rear bulkhead for light weight and superior strength.
