This 350mm Girodisc system is a direct replacement for the OE Renault rotors, no modifications are necessary. The rotors will bolt directly to the car and work with OE calipers perfectly (using the supplied billet spacers to accommodate the 10mm larger Girodisc rotors). By upgrading your brakes with lightweight high performance replacements (as opposed to a big brake kit), your factory brake bias is maintained as well as your ABS efficiency. The Girodisc front rotors are approx 22.0 lbs vs. 25.2 lbs for the stock units. This reduction in rotational and unsprung weight allows for quicker acceleration and suspension response.The central hat section of our rotor is made from U.S. sourced 6061-T6 aircraft specification aluminum. The disc is made from Giorodisc's own proprietary cast iron, poured in the USA and machined from start to finish in-house at Girodisc. The rotor utilizes a curved vane design, developed in racing to act as a centrifugal pump to force cooling air through the disc.The rotor and hat have a floating mount system, which utilizes 10 high-strength alloy steel drive pins, manufactured by Girodisc in the USA and cadmium plated for long lasting corrosion resistance. These pins take the load from braking actions while maintaining the axial and radial float between the hat and disc. The pins are secured by Grade-12 cap screws with hardened washers. In order to keep the rotors from making noise when cold, the pins are mounted with anti-noise spring washers on the rotor side which allow the rotor to grow with heat expansion but eliminate the rattle and noise associated with floating rotors. This float also allows the rotor to self center between the pads.Once the Girodisc system is in place, simply replace the cast iron discs when needed. Sold/priced per pair.

Stage1 maps are designed for a stock engine and intake, with either stock exhaust or muffler bypass.
Stage 2 maps are designed for full aftermarket exhaust (Cup car headers can be used), with an otherwise stock engine. Left-foot braking is enabled (a major reason to get the COBB Stage 2 tune). Rev limit is raised to 8,550 RPM.
There is also a valet-mode (rev limit of 4,000 RPM) and an anti-theft mode that will not allow the engine to start.
COBB has even provided a 100-octane map that takes maximum advantage of using high-octane racing fuel. We have had incredible success using Race Gas in our race cars to chemically reformulate pump gas into real 100-octane racing fuel.

The Brey Krause Model R-1120 Harness Bar for the C6 Corvette properly locates and supports racing shoulder harnesses relative to the driver. In the case of an accident, it helps protect the driver's shoulders and spine. The harness guides also prevent excessive shifting and fatigue of the driver during the high G loads of cornering and braking. Our bars are easy to install and remove, and will get you ready for the track in just a few hours!
NOTE: Because of mounting locations in the C6, the B-pillar plastic sail panel covers will require two holes to be drilled through them. Brey-Krause provides plastic plugs to cover the holes if the bar is ever removed. Sail panels replacements can be ordered from your GM Dealer (Part 15277640 for driver side, and 15277641 for passenger side) if the plastic plugs are not the desired solution. Strength requirements for harness mounts are considerably greater than those for harness guide bars since they must support the entire load applied to the belts.
