This QRT Technology gives an unparalleled mechanical strength/weight ratio for fiberglass composite racing seats. QRT Technology gives weight savings of 7 lbs to 10 lbs per shell. The main benefit is that QRT-R seat approaches the weight of a carbon fiber seat at a price of a fiberglass seat. The QRT-R is the lightest "Medium/Large" size fiberglass seat, the shell alone weighs only 9.9 lbs (or 15 lbs fully trimmed). Sparco 600 Series seat bases are vehicle specific for an easy, bolt-in installation. The 600 Series Sparco racing seat base is constructed with 3/16" steel providing a strong, flex-free mount. Sparco 600 Series racing seat mounting bases are powder coated in a black wrinkle finish for a clean look. In addition to the mounting holes provided for standard bolt-on installation, the Sparco base has a wide metal platform for custom installation of side mounts directly to the base (drilling required). Direct installation is handy in race vehicles where the lowest seat position is desired. Note: We carry Sparco 600 Series seat mounting bases for dozens of popular fitments in stock.
